Jacob Garza

President and CEO

Prior to Global Surveillance Jacob served as President and CEO of a top-selling property management software developer and distributor. A four-time recipient of the prestigious Fast Tech 50 Award which recognizes the fastest growing technology companies in the state, his software business was also ranked by Forbes magazine as one of the 500 fastest growing technology companies in the nation.

As a master strategist, Jacob formulates organizational tactics that seamlessly integrate product development, sales, marketing, customer service and operations to form winning enterprises. As a result, these enterprises flourish as dominant market leaders, while maximizing shareholder value. Jacob's business acumen and keen insight has enabled him to persevere and remain competitive even in periods of an unsettled economy.

Giving back to the community, by sharing talents, skills and time to benefit society is high on Jacob’s list. As an instrument-rated pilot Jacob devotes as much time as his schedule permits to more humanitarian pursuits. For a number of years Jacob has been involved with Angel Flight, Inc., the only nationwide organization of volunteer pilots, who donate their time to transport patients in need of specialized treatment unavailable locally.

 

Jay Lu

Director of Technology

Jay joined DIGIOP Technologies where he developed and implemented automated integration processes and significantly increased the building and shipping operations of DVRs. He developed the Windows XP Embedded operating system that replaced Windows XP 2000 Professional/XP PRO, greatly reducing costs. As a Systems Engineer, Jay works to successfully develop and maintain the lifecycles of the all Global Surveillance products. He never fails to take on the challenges of exploring new and innovative ideas to contribute to the company’s continued growth and success.

He has worked with Allied-Signal (Aerospace) as a CAD designer and Wylie Electronics where he implemented complete automation for their integration center. Later with Systemax he implemented automated solutions and produced an average of 1,500 systems per week. Working closely with Microsoft he also was instrumental in gaining WHQL certifications on all products, significantly increasing returns.

Jay’s education includes degrees in MCSE (Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer), ASE (Compaq – Accredited Systems Engineer) and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Engineering.

 

Gulam Murtuza

Director of Quality Assurance and Support

Upon joining DIGIOP Technologies as Lead Software QA (R&D) in 2002, Gulam became responsible for QA activities for OEM software and hardware used in Security Surveillance PC-based DVRs. He gained extensive experience in test execution and reporting of bugs and failures of Beta Software on new platforms to development teams, and in designing test plans, scenarios, scripts and procedures. Testing system modifications and version upgrades prior to release was also Gulam’s responsibility.

In 1997 Gulam joined Compaq Computer Corporation in the capacity of Lead Software QA. He was involved with troubleshooting failed units to component level and reporting issues to Corporate R&D; Cell-build; configuring custom commercial and consumer Desktop PCs including workstations and laptops; following ISO 9001 standards with integration of computer systems; software integration and QA testing of new products prior to release.

Gulam received a Bachelor of Science degree from Osmania University in Hyderabad, India and his AAS (Computer Science) from Harold Washington College in Chicago.
